NEW DATE Homeschool Social: Wildlife Illustration
Friday, February 24
10:30AM, Griffin Room
Instructors from the Lutz Children's Museum in Manchester, CT will facilitate a Wildlife Illustration program for homeschool students in grades K-5. Some of the earliest artwork that art historians have discovered was inspired by animals. Many artists, including Rousseau, Audubon, and Da Vinci, have dedicated countless hours observing, drawing, and painting wildlife. Students will see examples of wildlife art and then use live animals from the museums collection to practice drawing styles in their very own sketchbook.
Registration is required for this program. (This program has been rescheduled from 2/10. If you signed up for that date, you do not need to register again.) Call the library at 203-630-6347 or sign up your child here. Space is limited.
