If you are a resident of Meriden visit the Library and receive your card. Adults require one form of identification showing name and present address. Children require one form of identification showing name (social security card, birth certificate, medical card).

Your card may be used in almost all public libraries in Connecticut. It is renewable every 2 years
Books, including Large Type, are loaned for 21 days
Paintings are loaned for 8 weeks
Magazines (all but current issues) can be borrowed for 21 days
CDs and audio cassettes – borrow up to 10 per member for 21 days
Borrow up to 3 DVDs and ten videos per person

Replacement cost of a lost library card is $1.00
Fines: Adult 10 cents/day, Children’s 5 cents/day, DVDs and Videos $1/day, Paintings $1/day
