Anime Club

The Teen Anime Club at the Meriden Public Library will meet on Friday, February 10th at 2:30 pm in the Griffin Room. In celebration of Valentines Day we will be quizzing each other on popular manga and anime couples. Afterwards we will be watching the new Trigun movie. 20 years after meddling into the bank heist of a notorious robber named Gasback, Vash the Stampede is heading towards Macca City. Rumors say that the legendary thief might appear there causing an enormous influx of bounty hunters in the area who want to collect the $300,000,000 prize for his head (description provided by Anime News Network). Snacks and drinks will be provided. This program is for teens age 13-18. Comic Club

Do you enjoy reading manga, comics or graphic novels? Then come to Comic Club at the Meriden Public Library on Thursday, February 23rd at 3:30 in the Cook Room (located behind the Teen Center). Come and talk about your favorite comics, hear about new ones coming out and even help pick some out for the library. This program is for teens 13-18. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
