This is fully-illustrated introductory story of The Civil War era presented by Kelvin Cole, with a special focus on Connecticut's role in The Civil War including The Amistad Case (New Haven), Connecticut's State Heroine  Prudence Crandall (Canterbury), also  Harriet Beecher Stowe (Litchfield) and her Uncle Tom's Cabin, and Connecticut's own  John Brown (Torrington) and The Abolitionist Movement that was here.  All of it will be woven into a General Discussion of the Civil War times and how Connecticut was a formative part of it all.
