Kindertransport was the name given to the mission which took thousands of children to safety ahead of World War II. Ruth Weiner was one of those children. Hear the story of her family's life in Vienna prior to Hitler, and of the dramatic changes that impacted their lives with the incursion of the Nazis. Her story is graphic and detailed. Included will be a brief depiction of Kristallnacht, as well as the story of her family's flight from Europe, their eventual reunion, and finally finding refuge in the U.S.
