Join us as we learn about and observe this beautiful holiday. The Days of the Dead are celebrated throughout Latin America on November 1st and 2nd. Traditions vary, but the idea is always the same: to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. We will create a traditional ofrenda and tissue-paper flowers and enjoy seasonal treats and refreshments. Send a photo to 1mplref@gmail.com to place on the ofrenda.
Annual celebration of Day of the Dead/Día de los muertos; we will create a traditional ofrenda/altar with photos to honor those who have passed; we will also have crafts (tissue paper flower-making) and coloring; and serve traditional pan de muerto and cider.
