Event Details

Help the Meriden Historical Society as they embark on an extraordinary journey through time. We invite you to help capture the essence of eight decades of life, dreams, and transformation in our city. Join us as we capture the hidden gems and untold stories of what it truly means to grow up in Meriden. Meriden has seen the ebb and flow of time, and we want to commemorate its incredible evolution by preserving the memories of those who have called it home. From the heartfelt laughter echoing through Hubbard Park, to the stories whispered along the banks of Hanover Pond, every nook and cranny of this city holds a piece of its unique narrative. These memories will culminate in a digital representation of the changes, a presentation and possibly an exhibit that will transport you through time, granting you a front-row seat to the joys, challenges, and triumphs that have shaped our community. Share your story!

Don’t miss your chance to become a part of Meriden’s living history! The Meriden Historical Society will be collecting stories through September 15th. The kick off to this amazing project will take place in Meeting Room 4 during our Grand Opening. You can choose to be recorded in person or write your answers and email them to the Historical Society.
