Nino Ciampa and the Hartt Salsa All-Stars

Let's celebrate 40 years of the Friends of the Meriden Public Library with an evening of music and refreshments! 

Join the Hartt Salsa All-Stars, the first ensemble from the University of Hartford to be devoted exclusively to New York-style salsa music, at the Meriden Public Library on October 16th @6:00 PM. 

Nino Ciampa, 19-year-old Boston native of Italian and Cuban descent, serves as the group's bandleader and arranger who also sings and plays percussion for the group. The band has performed all over Connecticut including Hartford, Meriden, Bloomfield, Willimantic, and Coventry, as well as Providence, RI and Acton, MA. They have also given various performances on the UHart campus.

Come and see them share their danceable rhythms and infectious energy with the community as we honor the Friends of the Meriden Public Library.
