Library hours for Thanksgiving holiday.

The library will close early at 4pm on Wednesday, November 27th.  

The library will be closed Thursday, November 28th in observance of Thanksgiving Day. 

The library will reopen on Friday, November 29th at 9:30am.

Event Details

Learn the history behind the beautiful Ukrainian tradition of Pysanka egg decoration. After a brief discussion of the craft and culture, Gloria Horbaty, president of the CT Ukrainian-American Historical Society, will demonstrate the traditional art of “writing” or decorating Easter eggs, followed by traditional treats and refreshments.
