Join the Meriden Department of Health and Human Services for a Teddy Bear Clinic!

Going to the doctor can make anyone feel anxious - especially children. To ease their fears, children will have a chance to play doctor with their favorite toy, providing it with the same care they will receive at the doctor’s office. Help your child gain confidence for their next medical visit at our Teddy Bear Clinic! Children ages 3 and up will get a chance to play doctor and learn about medical equipment, such as the stethoscope and otoscope with staff from the Meriden Department of Health and Human Services. At the end children can make their own x-ray of their hand with library staff.
Please bring your child's favorite bear (or other stuffed toy)!
