June 22, 2018–A marvelous “Fun” Raising Social and Picnic was held by the Friends of the Meriden Library on June 22, 2018, at the Meriden Police Benevolent Association pavilion. Music by the Omnibus Band, libations provided by Valencia Liquor & Wine Shop, food catered by V. Czapiga & Son, desserts brought by the picnic attendees, and beautiful raffle baskets assured a great event. About 50 folks attended and enjoyed delicious food, entertainment, and fellowship. Our thanks to the committee members who made this all possible.
