Library hours for Thanksgiving holiday.

The library will close early at 4pm on Wednesday, November 27th.  

The library will be closed Thursday, November 28th in observance of Thanksgiving Day. 

The library will reopen on Friday, November 29th at 9:30am.

Come celebrate Meriden native and acclaimed children's book author Tomie dePaola as his beloved character Strega Nona makes her U.S. postage stamp debut!

Events May 5th:

Family Storytime and craft: Celebrating Tomie dePaola, 10:30am | Ages 0-5

Come and enjoy this special family storytime featuring some of Tomie's stories. For our craft, we will be making our own illustrations on a canvas!

Events May 6th:

Drop-in Craft: Make a Magic Pasta Pot, Available all day while supplies last | All Ages

For this drop-in craft, just like in the story of Strega Nona, create your very own magic pasta pot with overflowing spaghetti!

Stop by the bridge at the Meriden Green on Friday, May 5th to view a StoryWalk of Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola, printed in both English and Spanish!
